Bulletin: January 10, 2008

Hi

Just a heads up: I have received word that tonight is the night that our humble Chatsworth Veterinary Center will be (briefly, I'm sure) featured on CSI: Las Vegas at 9 PST on CBS.

You'll see a sign on the building saying : Delaquilla Wedding Chapel (it read 'Weddnig' before I called the error to their attention), and a newly married couple will be coming out of the building. There will also be a cowboy in our parking lot -- don't ask.

It's interesting to note that, since clients passing on the evening of filming SAW the 'wedding chapel' sign, there has been unbelievable word of mouth throughout the community that we had brilliantly decided to perform pet marriages at our hospital.

I guess I should also announce in this email the impending nuptials of our dogs, Frankie and Maggie.

On Wednesday, November 14, 2007, CVC hosted CSI (Las Vegas)

The hit TV show filmed an exterior segment at our facility. They made some minor changes -- like renaming it The Dellaquilla Wedding Chapel! Yes, they used the exterior for scenes taking place at 'a Las Vegas wedding chapel.' After about twenty people supervised the installation of the signs, WE noticed that the word 'wedding' was misspelled 'weddnig' on the sign. The correction was hastily made, and preparation continued. Cast and crew arrived about 7:30 pm, and filming went smoothly -- except for 'site reps' Ronni and Andrea trying to get themselves and their dogs, Bronston and Nacho, into the action. The filming successfully wrapped at about 10 pm. Stay tuned for information on when the show will air.

1. CSI equipment and crew begin arriving Wednesday morning

2. CVC becomes DWC -- can you spell 'weddnig?'

3.  Two actors wait in lobby to step outside for their scene.

4. 'Our name' in lights

5. Then something happened -- someone pushed a wrong button on the camera, ruining all of the photos -- but we're still gonna show them to you anyway. Here, a cameraman being wheeled on a dolly in our
front parking lot

6. Looks almost like Christmas

7. Cowboy (actor) waiting for girl who'll never show up at 'the chapel'

8. As the actors wait, Ronni shamelessly tries to insert Bronston into
the shot

9. As if THAT weren't enough, the actors are forced to pose with Ronni's AND Andrea's pets, Bronston and Nacho
