Dear Friends,
We at CVC are committed to provide to you, our valued clients, the most current, progressive and comprehensive health
care for your pet family, along with the highest level of client service and caring with a personal touch.  This page will bring you up to date on some of the exciting ways that we are accomplishing this.

I am quite pleased that
the major expansion and modernization of our facility has been completed. We've doubled the size of our facility, enlarging
our treatment area, and creating a large, modern kennel -- we fondly call The Inn at CVC. All of this greatly increases our ability to serve the medical and boarding needs of our clients and patients. We're quite proud and excited about this substantial investment in our commitment to serve the community. You can take a pictorial trip through our construction process under the 'CVC Expansion' tab on this site or better yet -- stop by and let us show you around.

AAHA
I am very proud that CVC has once again been awarded the highest accreditation of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).  This accreditation -- 'with honors' -- stands for excellence in all areas of veterinary medical care, including the quality of medicine practiced, hospital cleanliness, and the level of client service.  A big congratulations and thank you to our terrific staff for their continuing -- and SUCCESSFUL -- efforts to strive for excellence!

Rattlesnake Vaccine
Spring and summer are rattlesnake seasons. There are seven types of rattlesnakes, and they are common in California. They may even be found in your backyard. A rattlesnake bite may be life-threatening to your pet. The good news is that we now have an effective rattlesnake vaccine. We recommend this protection for your pet.

CAPC
The Companion Animal Parasite Council (CAPC) is an independent council of veterinarians, parasitologists, physicians
and others working together to create guidelines for optimal control of parasites that threaten the health of pets and people. Among their recommendations are administration of year-round preventive flea/tick products as well as year-round heartworm preventives that are effective against parasites that can infect people.

A Key to Your Pet's Good Health:  Preventive Medical Care
A regular annual physical examination is one of the most important things you can do for your pet.  Not only can this enable us to find and treat health problems early; it can actually prevent problems from developing in the first place.  Maximize your pet's quality of life and long term health by scheduling an annual physical examination.
