Susan P. Milder, D.V.M.
Owner

Susan Milder graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She has since practiced and developed a loyal clientele in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, including her work at Chatsworth Veterinary Center for the last fifteen years. She is seen here with her eleven year old daughter Sara  whose lovely face now graces the CVC billboard over Devonshire Street, and husband/business partner, Manny.

Dr. Milder's professional memberships include the American Veterinary Medical Association, California Veterinary Medical Association, Southern California Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.  This Detroit native, raised in Ohio, is down to earth, direct and enthusiastic about her work, which is rooted in a deep love for, and commitment to, animals and their people. "I treat every patient as I would my own pet." "Dr. Suzi," as her longtime clients refer to her, has appeared on NBC television, and has made presentations to the public and other  veterinarians regarding a

variety of veterinary topics. She has also worked with several pet rescue and adoption organizations. Her pet family includes dogs Maggie, Katie and Daisy, and cats Lucy and Lily, all of whom get along famously.

Kamran Nassi D.V.M
We are excited and proud that Dr. Kamran Nassi has been an Associate Veterinarian at Chatsworth Veterinary Center for two years. Kamran received his DVM degree in Iran and then received his ECFVG certificate from Iowa State University, veterinary teaching hospital. He also worked in the surgery department of VCA, West Los Angeles animal hospital for three years. His major interest area is surgery and internal medicine. He is very enthusiastic about his work, and is a strong believer in client communication and education. We are sure that you will find Kamran, as we do, to be an excellent doctor and a real pet and people person. Kamran and his wife, Ronita, are not permitted by their landlord to have pets!! Their son, Joshua, will celebrate his first birthday in May.

Staff

A great support staff is the key to excellent client service, and CVC boasts one of the finest!
We will feature here profiles of our staff members.

Ronni Jacobsen

Ronni is a veteran veterinary receptionist. She has an easygoing sense of humor and quick wit. She has two terrific sons, Jared 18, now in the Air Force, and Jonathan, 20, going to college.  Ronni's pet family includes a cat, Sneakers (here's the gossip: Sneakers has extra toes on all
four feet - six toes on one foot, five on the others). Ronni also breeds and raises quarter horses--she now has two of them.

Jin Kim

Jin is an assistant technician whose calm and professional manner belies a playful sense of humor. She says that her 'loves' are playing with her pets and working at CVC. Aw Jin, you didn't have to say that, but we're glad you did. Jin's pet family includes two cats, Sky and Milo, and two dogs, Yesol, a Spitz mix (my "angel"), and Jinju, a Pomeranian (my "devil"). They all play well together, except that Jinju gets mad when Yesol steals her toys.

Manny is jealous, but Mr. Freckles reassures him

CVC staff enjoyed its 15th annual Christmas Dinner on Saturday, 12/12/09, at Dr. Milder and Manny's house. It was a good time, and it gave us the opportunity to thank everyone for their hard and good work during 2009.
