longtime clients refer to her, has appeared on NBC television, and
has made presentations to the public and other veterinarians

Staff
|
A great
support staff is the key to excellent client service, and
CVC boasts one of the finest! We will feature here
profiles of our staff members. |
Ronni Jacobsen
Ronni
is a veteran veterinary receptionist. She has an
easygoing sense of humor and quick wit. She has two
terrific sons, Jared 18, now in the Air Force, and
Jonathan, 20, going to college. Ronni's pet family
includes a cat, Sneakers (here's the gossip: Sneakers
has extra toes on all four feet - six toes on one foot,
five on the others). Ronni also breeds
and raises quarter horses--she now has two of them.
Jin Kim
Jin
is an assistant technician whose calm and professional
manner belies a playful sense of humor. She says that
her 'loves' are playing with her pets and working at CVC.
Aw Jin, you didn't have to say that, but we're glad you
did. Jin's pet family includes two cats, Sky and Milo,
and two dogs, Yesol, a Spitz mix (my "angel"), and Jinju,
a Pomeranian (my "devil"). They all play well together,
except that Jinju gets mad when Yesol steals her toys.

FOURTEENTH ANNUAL CVC HOLIDAY DINNER
We
held our 14th (can you believe it?!) annual holiday
dinner on Saturday, 12/15/07 at the Saddle Ranch Chop
House on Universal's City Walk. It was, as usual, a
great chance to hang out with our terrific staff,
family and friends -- without once mentioning work
(even though we DO love our work)! Number 14 proved to
be unusually interesting and fun. First, we
discovered several things about Saddle Ranch. It's
a big, lively restaurant that also features big,
lively food. The big news, however, was the big
mechanical bull! Even before dinner, as we sipped big
drinks and ate big appetizers, people started riding
the bull. It was big fun and excitement! Several staff
members, Vanessa, Kayla and Jean, ALL rode proudly and
gracefully -- some longer than others. The gang was
also hugely serenaded with great 60's music by an
acoustic duo of restaurant employees. It may seem
weird to think of an acoustic Stones Satisfaction or
Hendryx All Along the Watchtower -- but it really
worked -- these guys were good! And finally, we found
out what we suspected all along: this crew, which
works really hard, can also party hard! Thanks to
all for another great year!
